Why this book and why now?
I initially wrote Falling Blindly as a standalone. However, I had many people asking about Jessie, so I decided to share her story, which is one of hope, love, and overcoming fears.
What is a significant way your book has changed since either the first draft or the way you thought it would turn out when you first had the inspiration?
As with most of my books, I let the characters direct the plot. I originally thought Jessie’s story would be more lighthearted and funnier, but there were definitely some twists I didn’t see coming. 😆
What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?
Jessie loves really bad reality shows. Too Hot to Handle is her favorite. Jazz would choose Sweet Magnolias.
One of your main characters is planning a romantic night. Tell us about it.
Jessie would take Jazz on a hot-air balloon ride while sipping on pina coladas.
What song does your character put on to start your book launch party?
Jessie loves dance music and anything that makes people happy. She would choose “Let’s Go Crazy” by Prince.
