Top Sapphic Books, Nita Round, Freebies, and More

Friday Feels Graphic
We’ve made it to another Friday and it’s time to celebrate!

Find out the 3 top sapphic books with the most clicks this week, 5 Random Things about sapphic author Nita Round, women loving women freebies, and an adorable dog to get your weekend off to a wonderful start!

We’ll thrilled to feature Jamey Moody’s dog. While TB and Miranda have met Jamey a handful of times, they’ve never met Leo. Not in person at least. A true shame because he seems like a real character with a sense of humor and big heart. Of course he is because he takes after his pet mommy, Jamey, one of the kindest authors.

Jamey was one of the authors we caught up with last month at a GCLS event in New Jersey. You can check out the photos here. It’s always fantastic to see so many wlw authors and readers in one place celebrating the awesomeness of empowering queer stories.

If you haven’t heard of the Golden Crown Literary Society, it’s a nonprofit organization supporting an international community of readers, writers, publishers, editors, audiobook narrators, and fans devoted to increasing the diversity, accessibility, quality, and visibility of sapphic and women-loving-women literature. Their next event will be in Denver this summer. Both TB and Miranda will be there. Will you?

In case you missed the announcement yesterday, here are the winners for the February Books of the Month. You can vote in this month’s poll right here.

Now for Friday Fun!

Nita Round Random Facts Graphic

5 Random Things is our way of helping readers to get to know top sapphic book authors all the while having a bit of fun.

Here are five random facts about Nita Round.

1. I married my pen pal. After sending 15 page missives to each other every few days, we met, we dated, and we’ve been together ever since. She is the love of my life.

2. I was bullied as a child for being half Spanish, half English. So I learnt Judo, that helped a lot.

3. At 17 I had my first car, an old beaten-up old banger. It was so temperamental that I had a hammer in the glove box and to start the car I had to open the hood and bang the starter motor.

4. I have the attention span of a gnat. So I play two games whilst I’m writing and listening to music.

5. I have a degree in Psychology, but I was far more interested in technology, AI, and computer games. All of which was my way into writing, albeit for magazines.
