Why this book and why now?
Mason has been a favorite character among readers since the first book. As the saying goes, it was time to give the people what they wanted.
What is a significant way your book has changed since either the first draft or the way you thought it would turn out when you first had the inspiration?
When I first started the Moonflower Cove series, I hadn’t planned on Mason having her own book. She was always going to be a goofy side character. But she came to life and more and more with each novel and finally I had to tell her story. And I’m thankful I did!
What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?
Chase would watch any documentary or crime show. She loves learning and history and true crime. Her favorite show would be Dateline.
One of your main characters is planning a romantic night. Tell us about it. What do they do?
Mason would plan a romantic date for Chase that included all of Chase’s favorite things. She’s start with homemade pancakes, then a walk around the beach. For lunch, she’d make steaks and potatoes and have the finest wine suggested by Sophia. Then for the night cap…well. It’s Mason. It’ll be one Chase won’t soon forget. 😉
What song does your character put on to start your book launch party?
Mason and Chase would put on the Daisy Jones & The Six’s song Let Me Down to kick off the launch party because they know how obsessed I am with that album.
