Before we get to today’s post, it’s time to reveal the identity of this week’s Guess the Author!
Every week we provide five clues about a sapphic author. On Saturday, we reveal the author’s identity.
Before we unveil this week’s author, here are all 5 clues in case you missed them:
1. I’m a big foodie, and in mid 2021, I released a culinary-based romance for the first time and am still writing that series.
2. I was born and raised in Maryland, which means I have strong feelings on the state flag. (It’s the best flag.)
3. I shook hands with a performer in a Jack Skellington costume in Shibuya during a study abroad semester in college, and I’ve been trying to recreate that high ever since.
4. My new book is set at a fictional university inspired by my alma mater, including a scene at an academic awards ceremony like one I attended without realizing I’d been invited as an award recipient until they called my name to the stage. The character in the book knows she’s getting an award, though, because she’s smarter than I am.
5. I published my first book during an eclipse—and later unpublished that book after it sold a few paperbacks, which means I have a secret eclipse book out there.
Now it’s time to reveal their name. Drum roll please…
This week’s author is Lily Seabrooke!
Check out Fire & Ice, Lily Seabrooke’s new release!
Primrose was supposed to break her heart, not fall in love.
As part of a secret vigilante group on campus, Primrose is a master heartbreaker, but her latest target—figure-skating rich-daughter Giselle—might be the one to break her. Because a heartbreaker can’t fall in love…
Lily Seabrooke’s bio:
Lily Seabrooke is a lesbian, trans woman, and author of sapphic romance that stars food, because odds are, at any given time, she’s hungry.
Her interests include eating food, thinking about food, writing novels about food, and drinking coffee.
Monday kicks off a fresh Guess the Author game!
