Here’s what you can look forward to every week:
Monday: We announce the featured IHS Reading Challenge category for the week and a new list of books on sale.
Tuesday: This is New Release day, including the very latest ebooks and audiobooks from across the SapphFic universe.
Wednesday: Best of the Best winners are announced, with a new category each week. Authors love getting bragging rights when their books are chosen as the best.
Thursday: A new Best of the Best poll is unveiled, with all the books nominated by readers via email and social media. There’s a new poll every week, so don’t miss your chance to vote!
Friday: Friday Feels Fun! This features the top three clicked books of the week, a free book, 5 random things about a favorite author, and the always popular pet of the week.
Saturday: SapphFic Mischief is our weekly roundup of all the most important news of the week. If you’ve fallen behind, this is where you can get caught up, plus find all the community news for online and in person SapphFic events around the globe.

On the first of every month, we release the Book of the Month polls that includes all the books that featured the previous month in the new release newsletter.
I Heart SapphFic Reader Groups
Reader groups are a great way to interact with other readers, get book suggestions, and nominate your favorite books for Best of the Best polls.
Every Wednesday, Reader Group members have the opportunity to post what book they’re reading and be entered into the monthly drawing for a $25 Amazon gift card.
New AI Content Policy:
IHS is dedicated to supporting human creativity. This means we do our best not to include AI-generated books, covers, graphics, or audio. As of June 2, 2026, we’re asking all authors and publishers who are submitting database forms to confirm that their works meet the Amazon KDP definition of being created without generative AI.
Not all books are submitted by authors or publishers. Some are sent to us by readers, and others are books we come across on sapphic book lists, publisher announcements, etc. We hope you’ll understand that in these cases we are doing our best only to include content we believe to be human created, but we have no way of knowing for sure.
If you are concerned that a book you encounter on IHS does not meet the standards for human creativity that we have outlined, we encourage you to contact the author or publisher of the book in question. There are only two of us running this site as a community service and we simply do not have the time or resources to devote to AI investigation.
