Here are Noreen’s top sapphic reads of 2024:
1. London Ever After by Clare Lydon
The perfect conclusion to this beloved series. And also one of the first sapphic books I’ve read that has a character exploring their gender identity.
2. Meeting Millie by Clare Ashton
The polar opposite personalities of the main characters amused me endlessly.
3. Old Enough by Haley Jakobson
Everyone should read this book. It’s such a good story, touching on so many aspects of exploring queer identity and trying to navigate what the means for relationships from the past.
4. Hoops & Heartstrings by Eliza Lentzski
I appreciate that more authors are tackling sports romances. I’m a sports nut and was so sad when I began reading sapphic books to have very few sports books and TBH the ones that existed were bad.
This book is fantastic. If the author isn’t a WNBA fan then she did A LOT of research. Enemies to lovers, Great characters and a fun relationship journey.
5. Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree
I feel like I’m not supposed to include a male author. BUT, this cozy book is perfect for any DnD nerds out there who yearn for an intersection of sapphic fiction and fantasy.
