Here are Robin L’s top sapphic reads of 2024:
1. The Unfinished Line by Jen Lyon
One of the most beautifully written love stories I’ve ever read. Love, humor, and respect between the main characters who are each on their own life path and actively work on their relationship together. This is not a romance. This is a supremely lovely story of love. This book grabbed me by the shirt-front, shook me like a ragdoll, then left me on the floor in a puddle of my own tears. It had stayed with me through all the feels, and I treasure every emotion The Unfinished Line plucked from my soul.
2. Whistleblower by Jen Lyon
Final book of The Senator’s Wife Series was explosive. The story answered most lingering questions and the end result was spectacularly satisfying. A superb ending to an incredible book.
3. On the Same Page by Haley Cass
A truly beautiful story of friendship and love. Riley and Gianna’a relationship is one for the ages. All of Haley Cass’ characters are exceptionally well developed and you can’t help but fall in love with them … even when it takes them a while to get there.
4. The Pride Series & The Wrath Series by TJ Dallas
Whew, where to start? Super spicy, super hot, all rolled into an epic storyline. Went in with an open mind, and my mind was blown. 2 books to go, then I’ll read everything else TJ Dallas writes.
5. Tempting Olivia by Clare Ashton
After reading and loving Meeting Millie, I couldn’t wait to follow it up with Tempting Olivia. It hit all the right feels in all the right places and I enjoyed every line. Quirky characters, open communications, real grown up drama and resolutions. Excellent story to a HEA.
