Luckily our readers like to share! We look forward to passing along these recommendations to you daily into the new year.

It’s not too late to submit your own top reads and get in on the fun. Click here for the form. Our only rules are that authors may not submit their own books and your list needs to be new-to-you books that were read (not necessarily published) in 2024.

Here are Cassidy Langue’s top sapphic reads of 2024:

1. On the Same Page by Haley Cass

I don’t normally go for best friends to lovers, but this one is so well done. Nevermind that Haley Cass write books that weigh fifty pounds, it’s just that much more goodness for me to enjoy!

2. Meeting Millie by Clare Ashton

Oh, all the angst! I love angsty book, and this one was so full of it. Beautiful prose, too!

3. Broken Beyond Repair by Emily Banting

The van is the best part! Just kidding. 🙂 This was one of those that brought out all the feels for me!

4. The Senator’s Wife by Jen Lyon

Another long one. I think I like long books. 🙂 This was an emotional slow burn, and I adored this. I still need to read the next two in the series, because I want to see how it plays out now that all the books are out!

5. Pieces of Us by T.B. Markinson and Miranda MacLeod

This was one of those books with such an outlandish premise (an unaccompanied child being flown to the wrong airport) that it really sticks out in my mind. I love the single-parent trope – while Julianna is not the parent, she is the unexpected guardian. Fun times. 🙂
