Here are Tita’s top sapphic reads of 2024:
1. More than a Best Friend by Emma R. Alban
This series is pretty much the only historical romance I have ever read and truly loved! The world is described in a way that just makes it seem so alive and the TENSION!!!!! Oh my god the tension between the characters???? So good.
2. Outdrawn by Deanna Grey
This is one of those books, where I don’t remember the plot. Like, at all. All I know is that the vibes were immaculate and that I cried. And I honestly think that should be enough to convince you to read it.
3. Iris Kelly Doesn’t Date by Ashley Herring Blake
I love every book Ashley Herring Blake has written but this one is definitely my favourite. And no, I don’t remember the plot. But Iris had been my favourite character since the beginning of the series and getting to see her find love was beautiful.
4. Make My Wish Come True by Rachael Lippincott and Alyson Derrick
I know, I know, Christmas is over, but I still need everyone who hasn’t read this to put it on their TBR. This was the perfect YA story to me. The characters were dealing with some really adult feelings and I am so glad that they weren’t dumbed down or made to be less deep than they are!
5. The Heart Wants by Krystina Rivers
This was a beautiful love story that spans about decades and that was so emotional that I was crying A LOT. This just felt like a real love story, not an overly perfect romance, which was really refreshing! (Also, women in uniform. You can thank me later).
