1. The Rotting Hound by Sam Farren
This fantasy romance has an incredible knight/goddess dynamic. Dark magical elements and extreme, intense loyalty.
2. Clematis and the Queen of the Void by Hiyodori
This is book 3 of the Clem & Wist series, my favorite sapphic fantasy series at the moment – and my favorite entry in the series! Really fun mind control and reality bending elements.
3. To the Lightning by Catherine Ennis
This book mixes time travel and survival in the wild, stranding two women in the prehistoric wilderness together. I just loved watching them struggle to survive with few supplies and only rudimentary wilderness survival knowledge. Also a fun slow burn!
4. Those We Run From by Fiona Zedde
Great mix of thriller and romance elements. Also, I always love an assassin main character, and Sweet is a really fun one.
5. Schemes of the Wayfarer by Drew Sarkis
Such fun political intrigue in this fantasy, and a ship with a very tricky schemer and a very serious captain of the guard.
