Why this book and why now?
We wanted to continue with the two ice queens concept we started with the Queen Vs. Queen anthology, but one of our three of us wasn’t available to write a story to have 3 more novellas. We decided to collaborate on one full-length novel.
What is a significant way your book has changed since either the first draft or the way you thought it would turn out when you first had the inspiration?
Our base idea never changed, two ice queens on a cruise ship with a murder that forces them to work with each other, but everything else all along the way did. Putting two author minds together to plan the crimes, plant the clues, and plot the romance was crazy in a very good way.
What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?
The Love Boat
What 3 things would your main character want with them if they got stranded away from civilization, and why?
Julie would want a supply of iced tea. Suzette would prefer alcohol, especially Singapore Slings. While Julie is used to a simple life without many possessions living aboard a cruise ship, Suzette would miss art. She’d want an art book full of full color photos of Eastern art treasures.
Publishing a book is a huge accomplishment and it’s time to party! Choose a celebratory beverage for one of your main characters to toast the release of your new book.
Suzette was very fond of Singapore Slings in the Port of Singapore. They have multiple ingredients both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and pack a punch.
