Why this book and why now?
I like to include places I know because I have lived there or visited. I don’t stop writing. I just think of a place and some characters and off I go.
Would you and your main character(s) get along?
I am considerably older than them but I would enjoy their fun and intelligence.
What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?
Planet Earth with David Attenborough. It’s a distraction from other problems.
What’s your main character(s)’s favorite book and why?
Grace Hopper: Admiral of the Cyber Sea by Kathleen Broome Williams. Lori admires the pioneer computer scientist.
Publishing a book is a huge accomplishment and it’s time to party! Choose a celebratory beverage for one of your main characters to toast the release of your new book.
A Black Velvet. Lori saw it online and wanted to try it. Finding it delicious, Kaitlyn her partner says she doesn’t know if she’s spoiling good champagne or good Guinness. My half-and-half mix of draught Guinness and champagne (prosecco if you’re on a budget) is my go-to drink when I celebrate my birthday on St Patrick’s Day.
