5 Random Things Sage Donnell

5 Random Things is our way of helping readers to get to know top sapphic book authors all the while having a bit of fun.

Here are five random facts about Sage Donnell.

1. My legs are so short that I use a footstool under my dinning room table.

2. While I don’t love travel, I do it often thanks to my kid living in Prague.

3. I love playing board games and will happily spend hours a day doing so.

4. My dog is more popular than I am on TikTok. By a lot.

5. I once performed in a local aerial arts theater production. Think trapeze and partner acrobatics!

QUEER NEWS THAT’LL MAKE YOU SMILE

It can seem sometimes like all the news these days is bad. We won’t deny there’s a lot of troubling things going on, including a rise in hate crimes. But it’s not all terrible out there! We want to do our best to highlight good news, because while it may seem like the world is filled with hate, there are many individuals who are living their best lives with a rainbow in their heart.

This week’s good news involves Hannah Waddingham.

It’s not a secret at IHS Headquarters that TB has a major crush on Hannah Waddingham. Not only is she an amazing queer ally, but she stands up for what’s right on all fronts.

The Ted Lasso star was attending the Olivier Awards, when a photographer asked her to show some leg. She responded saying, “Oh my God, you’d never say that to a man,” adding, “Don’t be a dick otherwise I’ll move off. Don’t say ‘show me leg.’ No.” She then strolled away like the queen she is.

It’s safe to say TB swooned when watching the video, which you can do right here.

That’s all for today.

Wishing all of you a wonderful Friday!

Miranda & TB
