Why this book and why now?

I’ve always wanted to write a full length Christmas book and this actually came to me accidentally. My grandma asked me to write a Christmas book (which is ironic now because of how much spice is in it) and an idea popped into my head almost instantly so now felt like the right time.

What is a significant way your book has changed since either the first draft or the way you thought it would turn out when you first had the inspiration?

In the beginning I had the story planned out to be 24 books being given to Morgan but as I wrote, it seemed to be boring with the repetitive “here’s a book” “she read the book” even as I changed the ways she was given it, so I changed it to a much easier 12 books.

What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?

How I met your mother because of how cliche and funny it is.

What’s your main character(s)’s favorite book and why?

This would be like asking a reader to choose their favorite book. It simply cannot be done, Morgan and Lucy love all books but especially romance novels.

Publishing a book is a huge accomplishment and it’s time to party! Choose a celebratory beverage for one of your main characters to toast the release of your new book.

Hot Cocoa! With a ton of marshmallows. It’s something Lucy and Morgan bonded over throughout the story and gave them a chance to get to know each other with less pressure.
