Why this book and why now?

This is the third book in the series so it was time. I was a little apprehensive about writing it because the main characters are 24 and 23. It’s been a long time since I’ve been that age! But I enjoyed writing this book so much. Love is love, it doesn’t matter how old you are.

Do your character names have special significance or meaning?

Ella is named after a tombstone I saw in my local cemetery. The woman’s name was Emma Cordella and I thought it was beautiful. When I started thinking of the Ella’s characteristics and traits Cordella fit her.

What 3 things would your main character want with them if they got stranded away from civilization, and why?

Gia would want her sketch book and pencils and Ella of course! That’s all she needs.

One of your main characters is planning a romantic night. Tell us about it.

These girls love to dance! Gia would take Ella dancing, then when they got home she would have Ella sit for her, without any clothes, and she would begin to sketch. How long do you think that would last! I thought about adding a scene similar to this in the book, but it didn’t make it. Wouldn’t it be a romantic night for these two though!

Publishing a book is a huge accomplishment and it’s time to party! Choose a celebratory beverage for one of your main characters to toast the release of your new book.

Gia and Ella would have a Sex on the Beach. They have this drink in the book. It’s one of my favorites in the summertime and has been in several of my books.

What song does your character put on to start your book launch party?

They would start with “Golden Hour” by JVKE. This is their song in the book. I can’t tell you how many times I listened to it while writing the book and I still love it.
