Why this book and why now?
After My Gift to You, I had several readers asking me for more of Ash and Willow’s story, and I thought I would continue on the holiday theme with a Valentine’s story.
Would you and your main character(s) get along?
In this story, Willow is focused on work and sort of loses track of other things in her life, and I can relate to that. However, I would want to help her find the proper work-life balance. Ash is aware of Willow’s workaholic tendencies, but she doesn’t necessarily voice her concerns very well, and I would want to help her be a better communicator. So, overall, I think we would get along, but we would have to make some changes. 😁
What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?
Right now, Ash and Willow are both watching Wednesday. They like the dark humor and intrigue.
One of your main characters is planning a romantic night. Tell us about it.
Willow has always believed in fairy tales, but she lost track of that. So, she would want to give Ash a happy ending. She would surprise her with dinner on the beach, and then after, she would take her for a walk along the water, which is reminiscent of their first date. Only this time, she would have their family and friends waiting, along with a minister so they could get married.
What song does your character put on to start your book launch party?
Ashton loves the 90s, so she would pick “All I Wanna Do” by Sheryl Crow.
