Today we celebrate our right to live a full life with dignity.
It is more important than ever in today’s world to be aware of discrimination and how to promote inclusion, compassion, and peace. On Zero Discrimination Day, and every day, we can be that movement of change. Not only in our life, but in the lives of others.
A recent symbol of society’s movement toward greater inclusion is the 2018 redesign of the original rainbow Pride flag to display colors that represent the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community, including transgender people and people of color. We love the symbolism of the rainbow as representing inclusion, which is why we selected three books with the word rainbow in the title to remind us all to work toward inclusivity every day.
