Why this book and why now?
Jane and Kennedy are a great couple and they also make adequate detectives! This book is a compilation of their first 5 cases.
Would you and your main character(s) get along?
I would probably get along better with Kennedy than with Jane. I hate shopping and can spend hours going down online rabbit holes. Kennedy’s hacking and tech skills far outweigh my own, though! Meanwhile, I can relate to Jane’s innocence as she approaches motherhood. I remember being that naive myself!
What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?
Jane is entirely addicted to Only Murderers in the Building! While Kennedy is hooked on Elementary and really upset the show has ended.
Aside from the obvious food and shelter, what 3 things would your main character want with them if they got stranded away from civilization, and why?
Kennedy would want a cell phone and cell service. Jane needs a credit card and free online shipping.
Publishing a book is a huge accomplishment and it’s time to party! Choose a celebratory beverage for one of your main characters to toast the release of your new book!
Kennedy has chosen this drink for Jane. It’s one of those garish fruity cocktails with a pink spiral straw, two paper umbrellas, six maraschino cherries, whipped cream topped with rainbow sprinkles, all inside a hollowed pineapple. Why? Because it will make Jane happy and if anyone dares to laugh, Kennedy will send them a very nasty computer virus.
