Why this book and why now?

Mental health has become a more serious issue today than ever before. It affects families and relationships.

What is a significant way your book has changed since either the first draft or the way you thought it would turn out when you first had the inspiration?

The ending. Initially, I thought about giving it an unhappy ending, but decided to keep the couple together.

Would you and your main character(s) get along?

I think we would get along on one level; we don’t tolerate domestic violence.

Do your character names have special significance or meaning?

Yes, they can be everyday persons you might meet anywhere.

Aside from the obvious food and shelter, what 3 things would your main character want with them if they got stranded away from civilization, and why?

A pocketknife, a portable water filtration carafe, a blanket. The knife will be used for cutting, peeling and slicing edible fruits and vegetables and meats. Healthy clean water is necessary for survival and the blanket is for protection for those cold nights.

One of your main characters is planning a romantic night. Tell us about it. What do they do?

A quiet dinner at a restaurant both persons like. Then spend the rest of the evening/night at home watching a movie and relaxing.

Publishing a book is a huge accomplishment and it’s time to party! Choose a celebratory beverage for one of your main characters to toast the release of your new book!

Sherry or Harvey’s Bristol Cream. It was the first alcoholic beverage I was allowed to drink when I turned 16. And my MC likes red wine and Sherry also.

What song does your character put on to start your book launch party?

Don’t You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds. It’s a good dance tune. The reason. Everyone should be remembered for something, not forgotten.
