Why this book and why now?
Back from the Edge is Book 3 in my Beechwood Estate Series. Book 2 left a few openings that I wanted to explore and I think that I’ve achieved this with the new book. I love catching up with old characters especially the ones in Book 3. It’s like meeting old friends.
What is a significant way your book has changed since either the first draft or the way you thought it would turn out when you first had the inspiration?
I write from the seat of my pants, so I never know which way a book will take me. The original idea for book 3 didn’t even make the first draft. As soon as I reintroduced certain characters it took off in it’s own direction.
What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?
Shameless. As it’s a lot like the Beechwood Estate.
What’s your main character(s)’s favorite book and why?
Fried Green Tomatoes. Its all about strong women and their bonds.
Publishing a book is a huge accomplishment and it’s time to party! Choose a celebratory beverage for one of your main characters to toast the release of your new book!
Straight Bourbon over ice.
What song does your character put on to start your book launch party?
Weak by Skunk Anansie. It’s mentioned in book one and gave a good visual for the scene.
