Here are Jamie’s top sapphic reads of 2024:
1. Goddess of the Sea by Britney Jackson
This was my most anticipated book of the year and it exceeded my expectations. I love this series. The characters, world building, and the romance are all impeccable. It’s action packed and sexy.
2. Touchwood by Karin Kallmaker
This is a beautiful age gap romance. Kallmaker is one of my favorite authors and this is hands down my favorite of her works. This story and its sequel are books that have really stuck with me.
3. These Letters End in Tears by Musih Tedji Xaviere
Another book that I cannot stop thinking about but beware that this is not a love story and it is not a happy story either. It’s brutal but impactful. I loved every painful moment of it.
4. No Shelter But the Stars by Virginia Black
Sapphics in space! I couldn’t ask for more honestly. This would make a fantastic film. Action packed, intriguing plot, and head strong characters with a wonderful romance on top of it all.
5. Separate Like Stars by Diana Kane
Second chance is my favorite trope ever and this one is top tier for me. It’s extremely angsty and the HEA is hard earned but incredibly satisfying.
