This week’s good news involves transgender people in Kenya.

A Kenyan court ruling in favor of a trans woman may mark a turning point for trans rights in the country, as the judge found that she endured inhuman and degrading treatment from government officials and instructed Parliament to establish legal protections and recognition for trans people.
