It’s time to crown this week’s Best of the Best Winners.

How do we decide on the sapphic books to include in these polls? We value reader input, so we ask them on Patreon to nominate their favorites. It’s easy to follow the account for free. We take those nominations to create a best of the best poll and put it to the readers for a vote.

Nominating and voting is a fantastic way to show your favorite authors some rainbow love.

Countdown to Record Breaking ViewsCountdown to Record-Breaking Views

Now that we’ve reached the magical number of 10k in the book database, it’s time to announce another number we’re chasing that TB has been keeping a close eye on.

Last year, we had 2,119,942 views.

As of writing this, we’re currently sitting at 2,100,904.

That means we need 19,038 more views to beat last year’s number. We have two months and a couple of weeks to hit that number.

Given that TB is so bad at numbers, it’s funny that she’s been so focused on them lately. Little did she know, when she started IHS all the way back in 2017 that it would become so popular with readers. That thought puts a rainbow in her heart!

Guess the Sapphic Books Author GraphicBefore we get to the Best of the Best Winners this week, it’s time for Guess the Author

Every week we’ll provide five clues about a sapphic author. This game helps readers get to know their favorite authors while having fun.

Here is today’s clue:

Clue #3: My first book came out in August 2019 and featured a rock star and a pop diva, which then went on to be a full series about the band.

Find Clue #1 here.

Find Clue #2 here.

Don’t forget to check out the Best of the Best Poll post tomorrow for Clue #4.
