Here are Jan G’s top sapphic reads of 2025:
1. The Turning by Ruby Scott
Great book and never was able to guess the ending
2. Sometimes We Fly by Cheyenne Blue
I love the way Cheyenne writes and of course they usually take place in Australia. I could just feel the environment and the characters were so well developed.
3. When DC Loved Iowa by Lee Winter
I have read just about everything Lee has written. This is another on in her series of The Red Files. I love her characters but sometimes they are such evil folks it’s hard to wish them success.
4. Unfinished Line by Jen Lyon
This book has stuck with:me for months. I’m not sure it will ever leave my head. The ending just left you with such a tumultuous feeling of sadness on ne side and joy on the other side
5. Switcheroo by Cheyenne Blue
This was a great book about putting someone into a situation where they were never going to succeed. In the end they did but only by gut and grit did they pull out a win. Takes place on a cattle station in Australia,so that was a great plus to start with.
