A Valentine for Robbie
By Erin Wade
Sometimes we don't appreciate what we have until we lose it.
Robin Brady was devastated when her wife of thirteen years left her. Feeling more and more like a trophy wife and less like a beloved partner in a marriage, Vivian Brady decided she’d had enough. As her world crumbled around her, Robin joined a medevac troop tasked with saving soldiers’ lives on the battlefield.
Two years of saving lives and dealing with shattered soldiers made Robin more thankful and less arrogant. When she is injured trying to save a young man, she is airlifted to the same hospital with him. The two become close friends and decide to participate in the hospital’s Universal Christian Pen Pal Ministry. The two learn how to cope and share their innermost feelings as they correspond with total strangers.
