Danielle Fraser couldn’t recall when she gave up the fight. Resigned to enduring an increasingly violent relationship with her long-term partner Jackie, she can’t see a way out. Only her work and seeing her boss Caroline on a daily basis is keeping her sane.

Dr Caroline Howard, a General Practitioner, is at a time of significant change in her life. Having divorced her husband Tony, she seeks a different lifestyle. Coming out in her mid thirties is proving more difficult than she had anticipated, not helped by her increasing attraction to Danielle, the office manager at her surgery.

Oblivious to each other’s feelings, when Caroline suspects the abuse and reaches out to Danielle it provides hope and the opportunity of a much-needed escape route. Will Danielle find the courage to break away?
