Autumn has returned to Jackson Township, and the leaves are changing once more...

October has been a chilly, yet beautiful, month for Eve. The woods behind her house are beautiful, the apples at the local cider mill crisp and juicy, and there are only a few months to go until Tax Season starts again- which Eve, as a self employed tax accountant, is more than looking forward to.

So why is she feeling like her life is in such a rut?

The explosion of colorful leaves has barely drawn Eve’s eyes. She hasn’t even had a crisp apple. Everything feels old and stale in Eve’s life, save one thing: Hilda Soren, the bubbly and bright middle school math teacher Eve can’t stop running into at the cider mill. Hilda’s enthusiastic outlook on life is just what Eve needs to chase away the doldrums; and maybe even gain more than just a new friend, if she’s lucky…
