I've been in love with her since we were kids, but when she asks me to date her, it's all in service of a lie.
I’ve been in love with her since we were kids. Now I get to date her on the most romantic day of the year.
Too bad it’s all a lie.
Whether it’s at their high school prom or on the roller derby track, Devina has been chasing after Ryann for her entire life. They’ve been best friends since they were kids, but while Ryann was confident in her identity, all Devina has ever known for sure is that whether she dates a guy or a girl, she always eventually comes back to Ryann. She even followed her onto their roller derby team together.
So when Ryann asks Devina to date her, it’s a no-brainer.
Just one problem: It’s all a ruse so Ryann can get back at her ex.
Pretending to date Ryann on the most romantic day of the year is going to be one of the hardest things Devina ever has to do, even harder than dealing with blockers on the derby track. But the lights in the city and the wine and the view from Seattle’s Great Wheel are all so magical that Devina can’t help getting swept up in the Valentine’s Day spirit.
Maybe finally it’s time to admit her feelings to Ryann and see if they can be more than friends.
Scoring Pass is a sapphic best friends-to-lovers romance with fake dating, roller derby, a bisexual awakening and a HEA.
