Why this book and why now?
I wrote A Second Chance based on a second chance romance of my own! As a mature and wiser woman, experiencing a second chance with my first love has been a life-altering experience.
What is a significant way your book has changed since either the first draft or the way you thought it would turn out when you first had the inspiration?
This book was ruthlessly edited, and almost 10k words were cut. It’s a much better book because of it.
What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?
Gracie loves Orange is The New Black.
What’s your main character(s)’s favorite book and why?
Lauren is a huge Rita Mae Brown fan. Her favorite book is Six of One. She loves it because of how witty it is, and though it’s not a romance, it has some very touching scenes.
Publishing a book is a huge accomplishment and it’s time to party! Choose a celebratory beverage for one of your main characters to toast the release of your new book.
