Top Sapphic Books, Claire Highton-Stevenson, Freebie, and More

Friday Feels Graphic
We have three top sapphic books with the most clicks this week, 5 Random Things about author Claire Highton-Stevenson, and an adorable dog to get your weekend off to a fantastic start!

Are you taking part in the 2023 IHS Reading Challenge? We hope so! In fact, we’re making it even easier to participate with a few small tweaks.

Based on feedback, we wanted to make it a lot easier for you to enter the end-of-year prize drawings. Plus, who doesn’t like instant gratification for an achievement? That’s why now, every time you reach a new reading challenge level, you can tell us about it by submitting this form.

Also different this year, you will be entered into the drawing for every level you reach, not just the highest one. That means if you are Emerald level by the end of the year, you will have one entry in every drawing (as long as you filled out an entry for each). And if you read 400 sapphic books from 100 categories, you may enter another Emerald form! Or a third form if you read 600 books! (To spread the love around, if we pull your name more than once, you will get the prize for the highest level and any lower level prizes will be redrawn so we have 5 different winners.)

Just a refresher, here are the levels and the end-of-year prize amounts:

Garnet Level—15 books from 15 different categories—$50 Amazon gift card
Topaz Level—25 books from 25 different categories—$75 Amazon gift card
Sapphire Level —50 books from 50 different categories—$100 Amazon gift card
Amethyst Level—100 books from 100 different categories—$150 Amazon gift card
Emerald Level—200 books from 100 different categories—$250 Amazon gift card

That’s in addition to the monthly $25 Amazon gift card. That means, during this year’s challenge, we’ll be giving out $925 in Amazon Gift Cards. How’s that for motivation? Download the PDF with all the categories and start reading!

Speaking of books, today’s freebie is by Morgan Cole . The book was a 2021 eLit Book Awards Silver Medal Winner, and it’s Book 1 in the Chrysathamere Trilogy.

Please remember that sale prices listed in today’s post are valid for a limited time only and may change without notice. International prices may vary. Always check the price in your local marketplace before purchasing.
