Today is National Cereal Day

Today is National Cereal Day
Celebrating cereal in all its shapes and forms today.

Whether you like it hot or cold, cereal is a staple in most of our lives. Ironically, Kellogg’s Corn Flakes were invented by accident in 1877. Today, making cereal is quite sophisticated.

Cereal is probably one of the most versatile foods available. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack, cereal is appropriate for it all. With more milk choices than ever, you can make it your own. Want an easy dessert? Just add butter and marshmallow for cereal treats! The sky, or cereal, is the limit.

Today we bring you three sapphic books where breakfast plays an important role in the story in some way. Is this a random list? Yes, it sort of is, but cereal was too fun a topic not to celebrate.

Curious what tomorrow’s special day will be?

Make sure to check back each day for your daily calendar trivia, along with more great book recommendations! Any day spent reading sapphic books is a day to be celebrated!
