Miranda has instructed TB to wear pink today for an IHS team-building exercise.
Confused, TB asked, “We have team-building exercises?”
“We do today. Just wear pink.”
“Can you tell me what the activity involves? I’m not big on surprises.” TB isn’t much of a spur of the moment person.
“Do you trust me?”
“That’s unfair because you’re keeping things from me right now. I don’t want to do a ropes course or something like that.”
“Good news. It’s not a ropes course.” There was a teasing quality in Miranda’s tone.
“I also don’t like falling backwards, hoping the person behind me catches me.” TB’s apprehension grew two-fold.
“Just wear pink. It’s your favorite color anyway.” Miranda smiled, knowing she’d won with this point.
TB does love pink. It always makes her smile.
