Meet Kiwi and Coconut!

Meet Kiwi and Coconut! Kiwi (the longhaired tabby/Maine Coon mix) is a troublemaker who constantly discovers new ways to annoy his big brother, Coconut. Coconut’s normally a pacifist, but not when it comes to interrupting his cuddle time with me. This photo was taken after I woke up to find them fighting on top of me… an unfortunate, regular occurrence. Submitted by author Chloe Spencer.

Where the heck was TB?

TB loves exploring places near and far, so we’ve created a weekly game where TB goes on an adventure, snaps some photos, and then lets you guess her location.

To answer last week’s question, 62% of you got it right. TB visited Lee in The Berkshires. Also, 25% of you think TB had to check in with Miranda every hour to reassure her that TB was still alive. It wasn’t every hour, but TB had to text when she left home, upon arrival in Lee, when leaving Lee, and then when TB got back home.

Now for this week’s guessing game.

On Tuesday, TB went for a drive up north, ending up in a charming town in Vermont.

Here are some clues about where TB ending up.

1. It’s located in north-central Bennington County, Vermont situated between the Green Mountains to the east and the Taconic Range to the west.

2. Hildene, the summer home of Abraham Lincoln’s son, is one of the attractions.

3. Burton Snowboards was founded in the town in a garage in the late 1970s.

4. One of the town’s traditions is dismissing schoolchildren early once a week for ski lessons at Bromley Mountain.

5. After the Civil War, the town developed into a resort area and it’s still a popular tourist destination.

6. Back in the early 1800s, the town became famous because of the Boorn–Colvin case, called “America’s first wrongful conviction murder case.”

Here are some photos of the town. Once TB arrived it started pouring rain, so she left the book she had with her in the car to avoid destroying it.

Time to vote on the name of the town.

This poll is no longer accepting votes

What's the name of the town?

Polls close on September 28. The answer will be revealed on September 30.

Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend!
