When the end of the year drew near, we had one question we wanted to ask book lovers the world over. What were your top 5 sapphic reads of 2023?

Luckily our readers like to share!

Here are Gwen’s top sapphic reads of 2023:

1. Strange Attractors by Ana K. Wrenn

I love characters that are flawed. Wren’s writing and AC narrating was a home run!

2. Honey in the Marrow by Emily Waters

I loved this story and the fact that the MC’s were over 50. It flowed more like a song than a book. Anastasia Watley was wonderful.

3. Round Trip by D. A. Hartman

All characters were unapologetic flawed, especially the villain. I felt like many of these characters represented the real people in my life.

4. Femme Like Her by Fiona Zedde

I grew up in the Femme/Stud environment. I also felt that I didn’t fit that mold. I am hoping that Stud like her gets released in audio.

 5. The Business of Love by Charley Clarke

I usually don’t like fake relationships but this one really grabbed me from the beginning. The characters were relatable and likable.
