Here are Marta’s top sapphic reads of 2024:
1. Risking Immortality by Alyson Root
Different approach to vampires universe and I love it! I have to also mention the cover. It is wonderful, so inviting! I swallowed this book within a day. I just couldn’t stop reading. The love and connection between Amelia and Erin is amazing. So many emotions throughout this book. I love how supportive is Amelia’s family. It is a definitely must read!
2. Her Spell That Binds Me by Luna Oblonsky
This book put a spell on me. I couldn’t stop reading it. Iona’s and Ariadne’s story is so beautiful and so satisfying. Everything is included here. Love, spice, adventure and so much more. Great sapphic book about witches!
3. Tryst Six Venom by Penelope Douglas
What an intense book! This story was so good and so bad on so many levels at the same time. Bullying was so strong. I have never read a bully romance before. And I have so big mix of emotions in me after reading this one. I just couldn’t put the book away. I was hooked. There is always something hiding behind bullying. Still this doesn’t explain it. Whatever reason. Anyway the intensity of MCs emotions and their actions hold me on the edge all the time. I went through a lot with them. Very good book! A lot of triggers inside but still worth to read!
4. A Breathless Place by Harper Bliss
Omg! Wow! I lack words to describe how I felt after I finished this book. It was beautiful! True emotional roller coaster. It is so close to my heart and it is one of my favorite books now. I LOVED it! Everything was just perfect. Some parts were difficult to read, very emotional, but they had beauty in them. I love the poem/song in the end. I reread often and it makes me contemplate love and life.
5. Aurora’s Angel by Emily Noon
I am amazed how good this book is! I had so big book hangover after reading it. I can’t believe I finished it so fast that even I was surprised. This book is just fantastic! The world that author created was just wonderful. If u didn’t read it yet, do read it as soon as u can! Aurora and Evie’s story was so beautiful and compelling.
