1. In addition to having a dog and 2 cats. I also have many feathered babies: 7 guineas, 5 chickens, and 2 ducks.

2. I lived in Atlanta and learned pet grooming and got to groom Whitney Houston’s Yorkie!

3. My wife is also an author.

4. We had a family of opossums that lived under our house for a short period of time. We rescued one of the babies who got orphaned, cuteness overload.

QUEER NEWS THAT’LL MAKE YOU SMILE

It can seem sometimes like all the news these days is bad. We won’t deny there’s a lot of troubling things going on, including a rise in hate crimes. But it’s not all terrible out there! We want to do our best to highlight good news, because while it may seem like the world is filled with hate, there are many individuals who are living their best lives with a rainbow in their heart.

This week’s good news involves Chaz Bono.

Chaz Bono, Cher’s transgender son, got hitched to his childhood friend. They’ve known each other for 40 years and they’ve been together for 9 of them.

“I first met Shara more than 40 years ago when we were just teenagers,” he told People magazine. “I think it’s safe to say that not many grooms ultimately end up marrying the very first girl they ever kissed so many years later.”

Aww, this is so sweet!

Read about it here.

That’s all for today.

Wishing all of you a wonderful Friday!

Miranda & TB
