Before we get to the heart of the matter, we wanted to share something TB said on the most recent Zoom call with the IHS team. They were planning the posts for the week, when TB said, “For Saturday, what do we have going on for SapphFic Feels.” It took several seconds, after Miranda burst into laughter saying, “Got a hot date?” for TB to realize that she’d combined parts of Friday Feels and SapphFic Mischief. Now, she can’t stop saying it, not intentionally, but HR might not see it that way.
This is where you’ll find announcements for readers and authors, a weekly Caturday photo, SapphFic Community Bulletin Board, book deals, author selfie, and a new game we’re calling Where in the Heck was TB.
One of the new features with the website is authors are now able to support IHS through paid advertising. Many authors have joined our Advertising Pilot Program to help us test the ads and to allow wiggle room for our website developers to make adjustments in real time.
As a way to show our appreciation for sponsoring the all-new I Heart SapphFic, we’re spotlighting authors who’ve joined the Advertising Pilot Program.
We wouldn’t be able to run IHS without the amazing support of so many brilliant, kind, and generous authors. Please support all the authors helping IHS.

TB loves exploring places near and far, so we’ve decided to start a weekly game, where TB goes on an adventure, snaps some photos, and then lets you guess her location.
To answer last week’s mystery, 35% of you were right, I was in the North End. Also, 40% don’t think I share my cannoli, and they’re right. We’re talking about the best dessert on the planet. Why would I share?
Now for this week’s fun. In Devil’s Advocate, TB & Miranda’s latest release, there’s a dog named Happy. There’s backstory to how they came to include Happy in the book. Last summer, while the two were in Alburquerque for GCLS, they watched diving dogs on ESPN in the hotel restaurant, and really got into the event. When TB suggested adding a dog to Devil’s Advocate, Miranda said, yes and she should be a diving dog! A couple of weeks ago, Miranda called TB and excitedly explained that there were going to be diving dogs at a fair TB had never attended before. TB said yes before Miranda finished asking if TB wanted to go. Miranda, you had TB at diving dogs.
Here are some facts about the place TB & Miranda visited.
1. This fair was originally a one-day cow show, but now it goes for 10 days and draws between 450,000 and 500,000.
2. There are nearly 300 vendors selling lots of yummy, but not so healthy food.
3. There’s a great pumpkin weigh off.
4. Artisans of all types compete for prizes.
5. In 2012, the first pumpkin to break the one-ton barrier was weighed at this fair.
Now for some of TB’s photos.
And here are some photos of diving dog practicing for the big event.
Time to vote where in the heck you think TB visited. Polls are open until October 20 and the answer will be revealed on Saturday, October 22.
