The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted on this day in 1948

After the General Assembly of the UN proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, it went on to become the most translated document in the world and has inspired countries and people around the globe to acknowledge the rights of all humans to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness.
