Where the heck was TB?

TB loves exploring places near and far, so we’ve created a weekly game where TB goes on an adventure, snaps some photos, and then lets you guess her location.

To answer last week’s mystery, 71% of you were right. Miranda and I visited Mark Twain’s house in Hartford. Also, 22% of you think I’m a terrible backseat driver. I think I excel at being a backseat driver, which might prove all of you correct.

Now for this week’s guessing game.

Last weekend TB went for a drive along Maine’s coastline and spied one of the things Maine is known for.

Here are some facts about the structure.

1. In 1874 money was appropriated to construct a lighthouse on this “Nub” of land in Cape Neddick, York, Maine.

2. It became automated in July, 1987, leaving the landmark’s future in doubt.

3. It was then placed on the National Register of Historic Place to preserve the lighthouse.

4. The Town of York Maine is the permanent guardian.

5. One of the lighthouse keepers had a 19-pound cat who reportedly would swim across the water to visit friends.

Now for some of TB’s photos.

Time to vote on which lighthouse TB visited.

Polls are open until January 5 and the answer will be revealed on Saturday, January 7.

This poll is no longer accepting votes
