SapphFic Mischief Saturday Morning Graphic
The first month of 2023 is almost in the books and it’s been a fantastic year so far in the sapphic fiction world! If you didn’t have a chance to keep up to date this week, don’t fret.

Saturdays are when we round up all the sapphic books happenings into one convenient location. Think of it as your personal lesfic directory! After all, we know the weekend is when so many of us are able to unwind for a minute and want to get lost in a good book. To us, that equals true happiness.

It’s a beautiful winter weekend in Massachusetts, and TB is heading out for a day trip. She’ll be listening to the sapphic audio book hit, Something to Talk About. Miranda plans to kick her feet up in front of her fireplace to finally start reading Delilah Green Doesn’t Care.

If you don’t know which women-loving-women book to dig into this weekend, check out the BookFinder. There are over 2,700 books in the database, so odds are we have something you haven’t read yet. Or just amuse yourself by entering wacky combinations to see if anyone has written the book. How about a story with an alien set in a bakery / coffee shop? (Hint: there is one. Do you know the title? Go check!)

Without further ado, let’s get to all the sapphic book news from this past week!

Where the heck was TB?

TB loves exploring places near and far, so we’ve created a weekly game where TB goes on an adventure, snaps some photos, and then lets you guess her location.

To answer last week’s mystery, 28% of you were right. Miranda and I visited The Mount, Edith Wharton’s house in Massachusetts. Also, 44% of you guessed I had to take several attempts to get the Pride Collection book in the right order, which creates a rainbow. The answer is yes, but it’s not entirely my fault. Unfortunately, book 1 in the collection, which had the red cover, wasn’t available in print yet and my brain struggled with putting pink first. Luckily, Miranda was there to save me, per usual. It’s pretty much her full-time job.

Now for this week’s guessing game.

Miranda and I slipped up to Vermont for a drive and we stumbled upon a gorge with a fun name to pronounce.

1. It’s located in Quechee, Vermont along U.S. Route 4.

2. It’s the deepest gorge in Vermont.

3. It was carved out roughly 13,000 years ago.

4. The river flowing through the gorge is the Ottauquechee River, another fun word to say!

5. You can view it from a bridge and there’s a trail along the river to explore.

Now for some of TB’s photos.

Time to vote on the gorge we visited in Vermont.

Polls are open until Feb 2 and the answer will be revealed on Saturday, Feb 4.

This poll is no longer accepting votes
