In ancient Rome, Greece, and Asia, bartenders were often the owners of inns and brewhouses, and would likely have been responsible for making the alcohol they served.
We’d like to take this opportunity to give a shout out to Femme Bar in Worcester, MA, which is a brand new queer women’s bar and LGBTQIA+ safe space that will be opening very near IHS headquarters in the coming weeks.
