We are celebrating International Asexuality Day and the ace spectrum in all its diversity.
An asexual person generally doesn’t feel sexual attraction or desire. Asexuality exists on a spectrum, however, so it should not be assumed that all people who identify as ace are the same. Some desire romantic relationships with occasional sex. Some want romantic relationships without sex. Some don’t desire romantic relationships at all. Asexuality differs from celibacy in that a celibate person deliberately avoids sexual activity, though they may desire it.
Today we bring you three sapphic books where one of the main characters is asexual.
