Make the First Move Day was born from an initiative to fight the bullying pandemic in schools.
Today’s purpose is to raise awareness about bullying and its aftermath. It also honors the victims and survivors of bullying. Sadly, cyberbullying is at an all time high, and more than ever it’s important to take action to reduce its harmful effects.
Bullying can happen anywhere, at school, work, or even home. The effects of bullying can vary, and may include social anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, poor academic performance, and in some cases social isolation. Making the First Move Day sheds light on the practices and initiatives needed to make schools and work safe places for all.
Today we bring you three sapphic books that deals with bullies.
