Why this book and why now?
I thought I had finished with the characters from The Perfect Blend coffeehouse until one of my readers at WestonSuperSapphic asked me why Althea didn’t get the girl as she enjoyed her part in the story. Also they wanted to know more about the MC’s from both books. And so after a few different scenarios, I managed to settle on this follow up.
Would you and your main character(s) get along?
I hope I would. Reading through, I can see many of my characteristics in Althea. Except I wouldn’t go for a walk with her. I hate walking.
What TV show would your main character(s) most likely binge watch and why?
I think she would binge watch any show starring the wonderful Suranne Jones. Either Vigil or Gentleman Jack.
Aside from the obvious food and shelter, what 3 things would your main character want with them if they got stranded away from civilization, and why?
Boxes of Matches. So she can get a fire going quickly to make a decent brew. She needs at least three cups to wake her up.
A Mattress. There is nothing worse than sleeping on the floor. She needs her creature comforts.
Her lover. She has to while away the time in pleasurable activities.
What song does your character put on to start your book launch party?
Sweet Caroline. Because good times never felt so good, and everyone can sing along!
