Meet Anna Pulley with Love Where You Work

Have you read Love Where You Work yet?

Where the heck was TB?

TB loves exploring places near and far, so we’ve created a weekly game where TB goes on an adventure, snaps some photos, and then lets you guess her location.

Due to a tech fail last weekend, we’re repeating last weekend’s Where in the Heck is TB. For some unexplained reason, our email that normally goes out on Saturday failed to send. We’re looking into why this happened and please accept our apologies.

Now for what you should have seen last Saturday, which kinda works out because the book we took pictures of is the same one in the author selfie this weekend. Sometimes things happen for a reason.

To answer the previous where is TB question, 55% of you got it right. TB & Miranda visited Weston, Vermont. Also, 38% of you think TB spent a lot of money in the Vermont Country Store. Not this time, because Miranda was there to say, “Don’t you already have that?” Although, TB did pay $3 for one peanut butter cookie and when the clerk run it up, TB said, “That’s three bucks?” The woman replied, “It’s very good.” TB’s happy to report the cookie was very good and wishes she bought more.

Now for this week’s guessing game.

Last Month, on a beautiful and sunny day, TB kidnapped Miranda to head to Rhode Island to visit one of the mansions in Newport.

We snapped photos of Love Where You Work by Anna Pulley.

Here are some clues about the mansion.

1. This Gilded Age mansion was constructed between the years built 1898–1902 for Theresa Fair Oelrichs, a silver heiress from Nevada.

2. It’s also been known as the Hermann Oelrichs House or the J. Edgar Monroe House.

3. Mrs. Oelrich died at Newport on November 22, 1926, and the funeral was held in the “beautiful blue and gold tapestry room.”

4. In 1947, Mr & Mrs J. Edgar Monroe of New Orleans, purchased the home to escape the Louisiana summer heat.

5. The ballroom was used in the 1974 movie version of The Great Gatsby.

Here are some photos of the mansion, including snaps of Love Where You Work by Anna Pulley.

Time to vote on the name of the Newport Mansion.

The poll closes on December 21. The answer will be revealed on December 23.

Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend!

Miranda & TB
