Today is St. Patrick’s Day

March 17 is St. Patrick's Day Graphic
St Patrick’s Day is celebrated around the world in more countries than any other one day national festival.

America’s enthusiasm for St Patrick’s Day is due, in part, to our love of green beer, whisky, and a good party. St Patrick’s day is actually a religious feast day for the famed Irish patron saint who brought Christianity to Ireland. Currently, the world’s largest St Patrick’s Day celebration is the parade in New York City where more than two million people watch, all claiming to be Irish. While there are a lot of Irish people in America, we imagine at least a few of the parade attendees have kissed the Blarney Stone. Today we bring you three sapphic books set in Ireland.

Curious what tomorrow’s special day will be?

Make sure to check back each day for your daily calendar trivia, along with more great book recommendations! Any day spent reading sapphic books is a day to be celebrated!
