1. Dead to Rites by Sarah Goodwin
White witches and dark malice. A pragmatic detective and a gentle Wiccan unite to bring a murderer to justice.
2. Nights at the Majestic by Kit Eyre
This book reminded me of how a movie theatre could envelope me in its magic; banishing my troubles for at least one night. And how I always wished I could share that magic with the woman of my dreams.
3. Greengage Plots by Emma Radley
Cozy, quirky, fun with a beautiful romance to boot.
4. No Bones About It by Rachel Ford
A sentient skeleton; an erstwhile detective with flames shooting out of her fingers. Absolutely ridiculous. Absolute fun.
5. Eagle Ridge by Brooklyn Graham
A city girl out of her element; a forest ranger with a broken heart; a weekend trip that changes both of their lives.
