For some people, attraction is gender blind
Pansexual Pride Day celebrates those for whom attraction and romantic love may occur regardless of gender. Though the term itself dates back to 1914, it wasn’t used in its modern meaning until the 1970s. The term pansexual is similar to bisexual (and sometimes used interchangeably) but is more frequently used by those who wish to move away from a binary concept of gender to encompass the possibility of attraction to nonbinary or genderfluid persons. Today, we’ve chosen to highlight three books with pansexual main characters.
