SapphFic Mischief Saturday Morning Graphic
Happy weekend!

Saturdays are when we curate all the sapphic book news and queer happenings of the week into one convenient location. Think of it as your personal reading directory! After all, we know the weekend is when so many of us are able to unwind for a minute and want to get lost in a good woman loving woman book. What could be better?

In today’s post, you’ll find cheerful LGBTQ+ news stories to combat all the negative ones bombarding our screens.

Sapphic reader Nicole shares a Caturday photo of a beautiful cat who sadly had a much too short life!

One of the things we love about the weekly lesfic author selfie is getting to know the personality behind the words. Check out the picture of Jamey Moody with the book Meant to be Christmas.

Finally, scroll to the bottom of the post to see photos of TB & Miranda’s visit to small Vermont village for a holiday festival!

Guess the Author GraphicBefore we get to today’s post, it’s time to reveal the identity of this week’s Guess the Author!

Every week we provide five clues about a sapphic author. On Saturday, we reveal the author’s identity.

Before we unveil this week’s author, here are all 5 clues in case you missed them:

1. I feel most at home when I’m surrounded by pets, and you can usually find me cuddling a foster dog or riding my horse.
2. My books have been published through Ylva Publishing, Entangled Teen, and indie.
3. My debut YA Sapphic Fantasy trilogy about mermaids is being adapted into a webcomic.
4. Most of my books are set in Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest—including my upcoming release, where witches have a secret coven beneath downtown Vancouver.
5. The idea for my upcoming release was sparked by a spider nest that hatched in my bathroom… I decided I must have been cursed by a witch, then immediately started brainstorming a sapphic witch romance.

Now it’s time to reveal their name. Drum roll please…

This week’s author is Tiana Warner!

Check out How to Flirt with a Witch, Tiana Warner’s new release!

Step 1: Realize you have a unique ability to detect curses.
Step 2: Bring cursed objects to your local (heart-stoppingly gorgeous) witch.
Step 3: Accidentally catch the attention of a murderous family who will stop at nothing to acquire magical objects.

Jamey Moody with the book Meant to Be Christmas

Have you read Meant to be Christmas by Jamey Moody yet? Here’s the tagline: It all started with a Christmas date.

TB and Miranda love exploring places near and far, almost as much as they love a good sapphic book. Follow them on their travels!

TB here.

Last weekend Miranda and I visited Grafton, Vermont for their holiday festival. There was a dog parade! It was a fantastic experience. Did I mention the dog parade? I was so excited, Miranda had to point out Santa was also in the parade. Does this mean I’m getting a lump of coal this year? Because I was too busy fawning over the dogs?

Here are some photos.

Have a wonderful weekend!
