Guess the Author GraphicIt’s time to reveal the identity of this week’s Guess the Author!

Every week we provide five clues about a sapphic author. On Saturday, we reveal the author’s identity.

Before we unveil this week’s author, here are all 5 clues in case you missed them:

1. I began my writing career in the fanfic world.
2. I am married to another author and I never shut up about it!
3. I have such hypermobile knees that once a strong ocean current dislocated one of them.
4. My most popular book (according to Amazon) features a scene with one character using a remote vibrator on another character.
5. My wife and I went to Scotland to research the setting of my new book.

Now it’s time to reveal their name. Drum roll please…

This week’s author is Roslyn Sinclair!

Check out The Woman from the Waves, Roslyn Sinclair’s new release!

Love and hunger are not the same.

Six years ago, on a remote Scottish island, a mysterious woman saved Sister Madeleine Laurent from drowning. Now, after leaving her convent, Madeleine crosses the ocean again to find the rescuer who changed her life. Instead, her search is disrupted by Hæra North, a brazen, provocative local who stirs Madeleine’s repressed desires—and keeps a secret out of legend.

Hæra has one dream: to become the first female Stormhorse, a powerful leader in her clan of fearsome ocean horse spirits. To do so, she must capture, drown, and eat a worthy human. When she first saw Madeleine, she knew she’d found the one. So why did Hæra save her instead?

Now Madeleine’s back. All Hæra has to do is remain in human form, earn her woman’s trust, then devour her.

But Madeleine is awakening another kind of appetite…

The Woman from the Waves is an epic lesbian romantasy about the power of unleashed desire, the courage it takes to change, and a love so vast it spans the sea, earth, and sky.

Roslyn Sinclair’s bio:

Roslyn Sinclair knew she was destined to be a writer when her second-grade teacher took one look at her “What I did on my summer vacation” essay and said, “You wrote a novel!” It was all over after that. She is married to fellow sapphic romance writer Carrie Byrd. They live in the greater Philadelphia area, weathering cold winters, hot summers, pollinated springs, and crisp autumns that make it all worthwhile.

Monday kicks off a fresh Guess the Author game!

TB and Miranda love exploring places near and far, almost as much as they love a good sapphic book. Follow them on their travels!

TB here.

Last weekend we attended the No Kings protest in Concord, Massachusetts. It was raining. It wasn’t warm. My back/hip/butt hurt. Miranda had to juggle her kid schedule. Still, we went because this is such an important movement.

Miranda had the best t-shirt on and my favorite sign is the one about a flatulent king. The positive energy was incredible.

Here are some photos.

Have a wonderful weekend!
